Janet L. Thoman

JANET L. THOMAN received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2006 and was licensed to practice in Washington the same year. Ms. Thoman has extensive prior legal experience from her 12 year career as a Certified Paralegal for the firm's Founding Principal, Richard H. Adler.
Ms. Thoman is a contributor to From Injury to Action: Navigating your Personal Injury Claim (2011) and working as a contributing author on Understanding Medical Words: Musculoskeletal Dictionary and Common Legal Words in a Personal Injury Case. She is also a contributing author to the law firm's monthly newsletter, “The Advocate” dedicated to cutting edge medical-legal-insurance related issues for health care professionals who treat those with personal injuries. She has been a speaker for continuing legal education seminars for the Washington State Association for Justice and other organizations.
Ms. Thoman has been on the Executive Board of the Brain Injury Association of Washington since 2007 and serves as Chair of its Legislative Advocacy Committee. Ms. Thoman is also an Eagle member (highest advocate level) of the Washington State Association for Justice, and participating members of the Washington State Bar Association.
Ms. Thoman has been a resident of South King County for nearly 30 years and is pleased to serve her community as the primary attorney in Adler ♦ Giersch ps Kent location, close by to the King County Courts’ Regional Justice Center.
Ms. Thoman is a former small business owner, providing writing and research services to Washington businesses, and was a founding member of Parents Attending Law School at the University of Washington.
